The Benebikira Sisters are a Roman Catholic diocesan community living and working in many countries in Africa, including Rwanda. The Benebikira Sisters administer schools in Rwanda, including fourteen boarding schools at the Secondary level, six Primary schools, and two Vocational schools. The sisters have built four of these schools on their own.
A network of thirty-nine homes were organized by the sisters to care for three hundred and fifty orphaned children. Six district health centres are administered by the Benebikira Sisters.

One of the many ways APICS has facilitated support to the Benebikira Sisters is through Sister Lillian Gaudet, a Sister of St. Martha at Bethany in Antigonish, Nova Scotia and her music students. The students perform concerts to raise money to support students at the Immaculate Conception School in Save, Rwanda.
